Psalm 33 is a great hymn of praise to the Lord which gives the forgiven ones of Psalm 32 an opportunity to sing out their praise. In the celebration declared in Psalm 30, David says that he will praise the Lord! Why? Because the Lord lifted him up, healed him, and kept him alive. He basically says: I’ll praise you Lord because you saved me!!  You brought me from death to life.

Psalm 25 tells us to trust the Lord, to be taught by Him, to wait for  Him. This psalm, though written thousands of years ago, is applicable in any crisis, any distress, at any time throughout history. In the video on my website, there are powerpoint slides that highlight the actions we should take based on God’s Word. And the actions that God will take. The handout has blank boxes next to the passages of Psalm 25.  This page might become a very helpful resource for you to turn to during times of great difficulties.

Psalm 22 begins with the ultimate question "why?"  It comes from the time of Jesus’s ultimate suffering: My God, My God, WHY have you forsaken me? Why have you abandoned me?   This psalm prophesies of the crucifixion of Jesus – the Christ. The Messiah. The crucifixion of the Son of God: The King.   We can learn much about how to endure our own times of suffering by seeing how Jesus suffered, and trusted God while suffering.
