It’s a conversation you might want to grab tissues for. Lorraine Tallman’s calling is to care for people and she does it all while grieving with grace. Lorraine is living out her daughter Amanda's legacy through an incredible non-profit that helps thousands of children and families impacted by childhood cancer.
Not only did Lorraine lose her daughter to cancer at the age of 12 six years ago, just four months ago she lost her husband to cancer. The foundation her and her husband started together gives her purpose to go on. She has devoted her life to caring for others and believes it is her calling. Lorraine holds the hands of grieving mothers at funerals, helps families who just learned their child has cancer, and is also at the hospital dancing and cheering when a little warrior beats the disease.
She shares how to best support someone grieving and what not to say.
