Yep! I'm going to 'open this can of worms' because I needed to. We need to as women.
Sugandha and I have a beautifully honest and transparent conversation about race. What it has been like for Sugandha as a Women of Colour (WOC) throughout her life. She shares stories of growing up and realisations about herself as an entrepreneur.
This conversation is also about me sharing my own truths, blind assumptions and journey to LISTEN to the stories which WOC are sharing. To be present in the journey of my own upbringing and honest reflection.

We all sat around the wooden table, microphone in the middle, and had a beautiful conversations. Sparked by the concept of 'Embracing Slow' (which is the amazing book written by these two beautiful women) we ventured off into the truths of life today.
Motherhood, social media, following God's heart, finding balance, embracing a slower life, and being your truthful self.
Enjoy this chat. We are honest, open, transparent, and real. It was so fun to chat with these ladies. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

I have wanted to share this episode with you for a long time, and now it's time to launch it.
This conversation with Fideliz is a beautiful one. I don't often see Christian Coaches - who are out in the world of coaching / entrepreneurial space - sharing their faith. Even more so, sharing how their coach and drive their business with faith at the foundation.
I have spoken to many of my Christian friends who run businesses and/or have high flying careers and their faith is something that they often keep under wraps.
I wanted to speak to Fideliz about the journey she has been on getting to where she is with her coaching. How that journey has been influnced by her faith. What she loves and honors about the journey of being a faith-based / faith-filled Christian coach and entrepreneur.
Fideliz Cruz is the go-to Life Coach for the faith-filled entrepreneur, she helps women discover their gifts and talents and pursue their God-given calling.
It is her passion to see women rise up in leadership in all aspects of their lives and building a life that they love and one that honours God.
Fideliz is the founder of Kingdom Women Entrepreneur community, which aims to bring Christian business owners together through faith and action.
Fideliz coaches women from all over the world and is the winner of the 2018-2019 BYCA International Coach of The Year Award.

I read the article when it was going viral online. It was picked up by the Sydney Morning Herald -- a conversation that had to be had about the exhausting working conditions that health care professionals are put under.
What happens when you ask for a break, or time to recover, or a day off -- and you are told 'you're being an emotional female?'
I have been there as well. Working as a Nurse with patients loads that were unsafe, turnover that was too fast, and shifts that were too long.
The people that we are asking to look after us, are often neglected, overworked, understaffed and put into situations that are physically and mentally unsafe.
This conversation also goes beyond the health care field. What happens when everything that you had worked so hard for, doesn't align anymore? How do your parents take it? How do you tell your parents?
It's such an important episode and I hope that you enjoy listening to it.

She has been working as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery registrar until she experienced burnout and resigned in June 2018. The experience left her hospitalised, during which time she started a blog. She decided to eventually talk about her harrowing experience in a blog post that went viral in February this year. She has since received national and global media attention and has used this to increase awareness and advocate for better working conditions in the medical profession.

I never thought I'd ever do a podcast about additive and preservative free living -- it just isn't my thing -- until I came across Jo & Tracey from 'Additive Free Lifestyle'
Here's the thing, my daughter has sensitivities to eggs and corn -- all products of corn. She was projectile vomiting 2-3x a week when we were in USA and looking back it was due to the amount of corn (corn syrup) in her food.
When I came back to Australia, I decided to really look at the labels. What on earth was 'flavoruing' and why was maltodextrin in EVERYTHING?
I started to really look into it more. Although it didn't come up due to behaviour issues with Ainslie, if we weren't on top of it, she broke out in systematic itchy rashes for 3-4 days.
After listening to Jo's story with her young daughter, I had to get the ladies on to talk about how to change your diet, feel empowered, and sane as a mom. WITHOUT being in the kitchen all day. I love their free challenge and their paid program. I hope that you enjoy this episode.

Joanne Ling and Tracey Fry are two mothers and wives who are both into living the healthiest lifestyles they possibly can. Together they created Sistermixin’ which has now grown to become Additive-Free Lifestyle.
They are passionate about changing the way you look at food by spreading the message that additives and preservatives can be toxic to your health, via their online program Additive Free Made Easy.
Their mission is to educate everyone (especially their own families) on exactly what you are eating, what is in your food and some of the harmful effects these can have on your health.
They are also totally in love with doTERRA essential oils which they use daily, not just in cooking, but also around their respective houses.
Joanne and Tracey have now gone on to create more programs to further educate and help family’s control what they are eating. Their additive-free meal planning program, Meals Made Easy, launched in January 2017, which is a simple, monthly meal planning program full of family-friendly, yummy food.
They launched their podcast show, The Whole Circle, back in May 2016 where a new episode is released every two weeks. And, of course, their signature program, Additive Free Made Easy, has helped thousands of families change their lives forever.

Andrea Layne, of The Creative Spring, is a Business Consultant & Project Manager.
You're the architect. You have the vision and you're designing a life you love. I'm the engineer. I'm the one who helps you take that vision and put smart strategies behind it, so you can build it to last.
I served 11 years as an IT project manager and systems consultant for Fortune 500 companies and a Big 5 Firm, in the beginning of my career. This experience gave me a foundation and process for helping businesses run more effectively.
I have always loved design and art, and in 2011, I decided it was time to pursue this passion. I built a high-end wedding floral design company serving the Tampa Bay market. While I adored "playing with flowers" all the time, I realized it was taking me away from my family more and more as it grew. So after 7 years, I knew it was time to pursue a different option. That's when I came back to my roots as a consultant, but this time I am working with creative, service-oriented entrepreneurs to guide them to financial success with less overwhelm.
I know big business. I've strategized systems for giant corporations. And I deeply know small business, because I have been there in the trenches.... making mistakes and having successes. I know what its like to battle profit margins, feel the weight of wearing all the hats, and worry if I could ever make enough to actually pay my bills through my creative passion.
I took all that I learned on this life journey to create services so you can breakthrough the ceiling of stress in your business and finally achieve your goals.

What does it mean to live a brave life?
I posed that question to Dr. Rebecca Ray, because it can mean so many things to so many people. In this episode, we cover how to live .a brave life -- in so many different ways.

I wanted to tackle divorce, because I don't think that we can shy away from it. In Australia the divorce rate for marriages is about 40% and around 46% of divorces involve children. I'm the product of divorce (actually 3 of them growing up) and each of them were different.
There's a growing movement around collaborative, amicable and gentle divorces. In fact when I asked Megan recently how things were going she replied 'it was a great day, the couple went into mediation, came to a conclusion and both took the kids out to sushi'.
Divorce doesn't have to be messy and with collaborative family lawyers (there is such a thing!) we can be guided to reducing trauma for both the adults and children. This episode is great, eye-opening and progressive. I am not going to dig my head in the sand about divorce, because it does happen.
How can we make it as peaceful as possible?

When I first met Aimee Wilson I knew that she was special. She has one of the most comforting auras about her. I was totally intrigued by her work as I have followed her on Instagram working with her horses within her coaching.
In this podcast episode, I ask Aimee about her journey in becoming not only a life coach but also an EPI Certified Equine Assisted Learning practitioner and what that means for her clients. It's fascinating to hear about how working with horses can be so different for each client, but also so engaging.
