Hard on the heels of a government shutdown -averted and with the declaration of a 'state of emergency' by the president, I thought we could chat about a little thought-experiment/colloquialism. I'm wondering if you've ever heard of this saying before.... take a quick listen.

I received a cryptic postcard in the mail... to an address almost no one has. There was a just a phone number and a note that said "Ask for Jennifer". Today I call the number.

I was listening to the wind in the trees and thought about the local lake here. It's man-made and fed by a small creek. I felt bad for the creek and I wrote this little thing.
