Many Mississippians go into the military; sometimes multi generations. We’re going to learn about Military Law today with our guests: Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law Jim Rosenblatt and Professor Franklin D. Rosenblatt. They are both attorneys, associated with Mississippi College of Law, they are both veterans, and they are father and son.

Serving our country is very patriotic. We’ve got another way you can be patriotic and artistic at the same time. Mississippians have the opportunity to express their creativity and promote civic engagement. Anyone 18 years and older who is a registered voter in Mississippi is encouraged to design and submit artwork to be used as the “I Voted” sticker for all 82 counties during the 2026 election cycle. This is through the Secretary of State’s office.
The military is so important to Mississippi, it’s got it’s own state agency: Governor's Office of Military Affairs

From ms.gov/government/military Joint Force Headquarters,172end Airlift Wing, Camp McCain Training Center, Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, Columbus Air Force Base, Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Naval Air Station Meridian, Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command - Stennis Space Center, and Naval Research Laboratory - Stennis Space Center.
