Don’t make the mistake of thinking that once you’re saved, you don’t have to worry about the attacks of Satan anymore. He’s going to hit you harder than ever. You also need to be careful not to take on a one-man-army mindset. You’ll find yourself overwhelmed and defeated. In today’s message, Pastor Mike will draw out some practical advice from the book of Revelation on how we can stand up and fight against the Devil, through the power of the Holy Spirit and with the help of our fellow believers.

Satan is a vicious enemy. But he’s also a defeated enemy. He’ll try to take down as many as he can on his way down, but when Christ rose from the dead, it was the beginning of the end for him. The good news is, if you’ve been saved by Jesus, the enemy can’t take you with him. As Pastor Mike will remind us in today’s message, in the end, Satan will get his just rewards for the pain and anguish he’s caused. For those who are in Christ, we will receive grace in its fullness as we enter heaven for eternity.

God wants nothing but good for His Children. It breaks His heart to watch us suffer through the effects and byproducts of the sin that plagues this world. Israel, the nation He chose to serve as an example for the rest of the world of what it means to be part of God’s family, has strayed far from Him and rejected His invitations to salvation. Yet, as Pastor Mike will point out in today’s message, God still has His hand on them as a nation, and ultimately, He will bring many of them back to Himself.

The time is ripe for the fulfillment of many of the prophecies concerning the end times found in the book of Revelation. As Pastor Mike will point out in today’s message, the way that most of these prophecies assume that the entire world will be able to witness the events it describes is something that wasn’t even possible until the last few generations. The development of television and then the internet have made it possible to witness events happening all across the world in real time.

The book of Revelation is full of fascinating and sometimes confusing imagery and symbolism. It can be overwhelming to wrap your mind around. It’s important to realize you don’t have to understand all of it. Much of it will only make sense when it’s happening, or not even until after it happens. But, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Mike will lead us through a study seeking to gain a better understanding of the “Two Witnesses” described in today’s passage.

The grace that’s been extended to us over the last two thousand years since Jesus walked the earth is not something to be taken for granted. God has held back the judgment that all of us deserve for our rebellion against Him with the desire that we’ll turn our hearts back to Him and find redemption in His Son. As Pastor Mike continues our study of Revelation in today’s message, we’ll be reminded that someday soon, Jesus will return and bring an end to that grace for anyone who’s rejected Him.

Jesus is intertwined in Scripture from the very beginning. We often think of Him as simply coming into existence in the first verses of the Gospel of Matthew, but, as is made clear in the Gospel of John, He is eternal, and He’s the foundation that all of this - the world, the Gospel, and the redemption of man, is founded on. As Pastor Mike continues our study of the book of Revelation in today’s message, he’ll draw our attention to Jesus and His presence throughout the history of man’s interaction with God.

The great abyss is described as terrible and is dreaded and feared by even the demons themselves. It’s full of torment and evil and it’s everlasting. And as Pastor Mike teaches today, there’s no escaping it unless by God’s grace. After the tribulation, John describes a time of torment when the abyss is opened and all that is in there will be released on earth. It’ll be a literal hell on earth for all who’ve rejected Jesus. The bible is clear – there’ll be judgment for sin. But take comfort, by believing in Jesus, you’ll escape this!

The voices opposing God in the world today are loud. They’re powerful and convincing for many. They cause people to reject the offer of grace that God is offering. But one day, they will be silenced. Today, Pastor Mike will discuss the silence in Heaven as Jesus finished opening the seals. This silence is striking. It emphasizes the power Jesus has and how ultimately all will come to recognize and acknowledge him as God. Judgment is coming to all who’ve rejected Jesus.

The Jewish people have rejected Jesus since the day he was born. They couldn’t acknowledge him as Messiah while he lived and wouldn’t turn to Him for salvation. Yet, as Pastor Mike teaches today, Jews were his covenant people. He will not forget them or forsake them. In the time of the great tribulation, in particular, there will be a great number of Jewish people coming to believe in Jesus as Messiah. Despite having to experience the suffering of the tribulation, their faith will be strong. And they’ll be a light to the world.
