This week's guest is Lance Scott Walker, the author of a number of Hip Hop books including Houston Rap Tapes and the upcoming DJ Screw Book.  We speak with Lance about his start in Galveston and how music eventually brought him to the streets of Houston.  There he would meet notable people from the Punk and Hip Hop world and eventually finds his place documenting the people around him. This week's guest is Henry Darragh, better known as Doc Loc of "Doc Loc and the Swangers".  He is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Pasadena, Texas who is well versed in many musical styles, but has gravitated to Hip Hop...specifically Houston Hip Hop.  He has performed musical interpretations with artist like Bun B and was one of the last performers to work with the late Bushwick Bill.  Doc Loc sits down with us and speaks about his upbringing in music, the mistakes and setbacks he has had to rise above in life, what it was like meeting and working with Houston MC's like Bushwick Bill, and what you can expect from him and The Swangers.

This week's guest is Dustin Prestige.  He's a man of many talents and the last time he sat down with us he had released an album as well as a short film that was getting picked up by festivals.  Then he packed up his bags, moved to New York, and started hustling during the middle of a pandemic.  He sits down with us to speak on why he decided on the New York move, how he has pushed through some of the obstacles that have happened over the past year, and what he is currently working on.   

This week we have 2X grammy nominated producer and drummer Nate "The Beatbreaker" Robinson.  He speaks with us about his start drumming in churches in Houston and how that eventually led him to college and working with entertainers like Kelis, Tyler Perry, Tank, and Lecrae.  Robinson is now bringing his skillset back to Houston with Proper Art, a collective with a focus on connecting creatives.

This week's guest is friend of the show, Melesa Martin. She's done a number of things in the entertainment industry here in Houston but right now she is living over seas in Spain.   We speak with her about the measures Spain has taken when dealing with the Coronavirus, how things have been in the country since March, and the perception of the United States from another country.
