#InRealLife: We all get to sit back and peep 👀 game right?! Well at least some of us are “woke” enough to realize life is a game and you are playing it. So go on and press play so I can share some simple tips and tools for you to learn how to play to win because you too can be a winner at the game of life, if you play your cards right! #Message

#InMyMind: A year, maybe two or three or 10 years from now, when you sit back and think about this time during COVID-19 and it’s impact on society, what will you be able to say about how you handled it? Make no mistake about it, this too shall pass, but you gotta ask yourself. Will you?

#InMyMind: The life you live and lead is all about the approach you take and the #mambamentality requires that you don’t make excuses. Win or lose don’t defeat yourself before you play by making excuses. I remember Kobe for his dogged approach not only to the game of basketball, but in the game of life. How will you remember him?

#InMyMind: Judging a tree by the fruit it bears is not judgement, it’s practicality! We need to start being honest with ourselves and looking and judging the fruit we bear instead of the fruits others are bringing to the market. Look in the mirror and ask yourself, “what’s in your wallet?” #Message

#InMyMind: It’s that time of year again and last year I closed out the year with declaration, not a resolution! There is a difference. And do you wanna know what that is, then you’ll have to press play and tune in to episode 57 of In My Mind Everybody Knows Chris. #Message

#InMyMind: Doing these podcasts has given me an increased audience. Most that have known me have always said that I was wise beyond my years or as the kids would say, "I was dropping  jewels"  and I may have been dropping jewels, but those jewels came at a cost. 

The cost was my blood, sweat, tears and also having the strength and courage to face my fears. I paid my dues. You see we are like diamonds and like a diamond was once a piece of coal crushed under immense pressure to form into a precious gemstone, it too must be cut and hewn into a jewel. 

So the next time the pressure is on, just relax and know that you are being formed into a precious jewel and the jewels you made are from the dues you've paid.

#InMyMind: In life we do a lot of asking but are we ready to receive. Are we willing to give. My cousin use to have this tagline on his business card, "Win/Win or No Deal" and I absolutely loved that because it is a Universal Principle. It was all about the give and take that comes with life. 

So as you go through life please remember these two important things that should proceed any ask. Ask yourself , "am I ready for it?" And, "what do I have to offer?" And if you have an answer for those two questions you already have what you've asked for.
