#InMyMind: In an effort to consolidate the podcasts that I am working on I wanted to start including episodes from some of my other shows. I thought it would be appropriate to start with Episode 1 of The M.E.N. Show since that was the first episode that J'Sun Tyler and I did.
The Intro to Let Y'all Know: Thank you for tuning in to The M.E.N. (Mentoring, Empowering and Nurturing) Show's first episode with your hosts J'sun Tyler the Person and C. Will. Holla.
Please join us and tune in as we discuss our journeys and different paths we've taken from boyhood to manhood. Both being from the streets and neighborhoods of Sanford, FL to where we respectively reside in the DMV to the ATL. We discuss our hometown, summertime cookouts, basketball, Trayvon Martin, drugs, family, we discuss LIFE! Won't you join us?!

#InMyMind: There is no place like home, with your family around you you're never alone. Now click your heels three times and say, "there's no place like home...there's no place like home...there's no place like home." Listen sometimes you need to go where everybody knows your name and they are always glad you came! We need to make sure we all have a place where we can where everybody knows our name to help us remember who we are. While I was visiting home and recharging my batteries my boy Corey "Wiseman" Curtis blessed me with a beautiful message that meant the world to me. He said, "we need to learn to grow love instead of always trying to show love." MESSAGE! I'm glad I have a place where everybody know my name and they are always glad I came. I'm also very blessed to have friends and family to help me to remember who I am. Somewhere I can go to get a message, a hug and a good meal. I'm blessed to have a place called home.
#InMyMind: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, which is why we call it the present.” - Bill Keane
Today was tough! There are many people that lay within the periphery of our lives. We know them, we see them, we are acquainted. We may party together, we may work together, we may see them at the gym, but they are there. Although, they may not be a key factor or a major part of our lives, they are there and need to be acknowledged and honored.
I recently lost an acquaintance and the news of his passing brought me to a stand still. I also remember losing another good friend while at work one day. Their demise is a stark reminder that life is not promised. We worked together years ago, but they left an impression on my life and their presence will be missed.
They, like many others, are in the corners of our minds and in the background of our lives, but they have just as an important part to play in our stories as the main players. They are the Unsung Heroes and deserved to be honored.
This message is dedicated to the memories of my family and friends, my Unsung Heroes, R.I.P. to Brian Flanigan, Victor Ofokansi, Derek Williams and Marc Pierre, y’all are with me. Love y'all!
