We are joined by newly crowned National Champion from the Mississippi State baseball team Logan Tanner. We learn where Logan is from and that he actually was a pitcher growing up. He comes from a whole family of ball players. We discuss why he chose Miss St and dive into his career there as an amazing catcher so far. We end Season 3 in strong fashion. We are joined by the Kentucky baseball bomber T.J. Collett. We start the episode a little different and right of the top wanted to know about team NEGU, joy jars and the Jessie Rees foundation he’s involved with. We are so impressed by this young man and the example he has set on and off the field we surprised him with a gift. Then as usual we get a players backstory and where he is from, but we learned T.J. faced adversity from a very young age. He explains how he and his family got thru that adversity and how sports gave him an outlet. We talk baseball growing up from LLWS to high school and ultimately why he chose Kentucky. We then dive into all things Kentucky where T.J. had an absolutely amazing career. We also get to hear T.J. has a real life “summer catch” story from the Cape Cod league Then we discuss the SEC grind and the highs and lows and battling injury throughout college. We are joined by 3 talented incoming freshman baseball players at the university’s of Mississippi, Kentucky and Memphis. We get the backstory of all 3 players and find out their family dynamics and who influenced them the most in their baseball journey. We discuss why they picked the schools they did, what their summers were like and what it’s like on campus now that school and practice has started. We of course play a fun game of this or that.

We are joined by University of Tennessee defensive lineman Latrell Bumphus. We talk to Latrell and find out where he’s from and his athletic beginnings. We discuss his high school career and when he started getting recruited and why he chose Tennessee. We discuss where he is from and the how he got into tennis, he tells us a hilarious story involving a high school state championship and his mother, we discuss why he chose Miss St but ultimately ended up at Arkansas. We the dive into his time and career at Arkansas and then play a game of this or that. Hunter was phenomenal!
