In Phase

Here's the episode you've all been waiting for! The one-and-only Robert Lang of Robert Lang Studios has joined us on our podcast today to tell us some incredible behind-the-scenes stories. From humble beginnings to ghost stories, hear from the main man himself from his not-so-little studio in Shoreline, WA.

Welcome back to our beginner series! Today we're finishing our two-part discussion on DAW's. Why is ProTools the industry standard DAW? Why does everyone hate Logic? Why not just record analog? All of these questions and more will be discussed today on In Phase!

Welcome back to our beginner series! Today we're diving into our first two-part podcast to talk about DAW's. From ProTools to Logic, Fl Studio to Cubase, there are so many DAW's out in the world, and it can be hard to choose which one is best for you. We'll try to uncover the dirty little secrets of the digital underworld... and maybe learn a thing or two about the two most common DAW's in the industry!

We've got a different type of episode for you today! Join Gavin as he speaks with Justin from Cumberland Audio to talk about his incredible DI boxes and background in the recording industry. Full of fun insights and interesting tidbits about how DI boxes work, why you need one in the first place, and why Justin's DI boxes are so cool!

Today we discuss the differences between microphones, and what they are used for! We recorded this podcast using a dynamic, a ribbon, and a condenser mic, so you can hear the differences between them - wait until the end to hear what each of our voices sounds like on each mic! It's insane.

On this episode, we sit down with special guest Annie Larkin to discuss the struggles and challenges women face in the music industry, and what men can do to help foster a culture that empowers women.
