   What happens when a person vanishes? Out of the many families I have interviewed, a large majority of them tell me they don't understand the laws surrounding missing persons, law enforcement agents don't communicate well with them, or the police simply don't care enough. So, I decided that it was time to feature a podcast surrounding the various laws regarding missing people; more importantly, getting a perspective from law enforcement agents. I had the honor of interviewing two officers, one remained anonymous while the other was willing to share his first name. Dylan's parents have tirelessly been searching for Dylan every weekend for the last year and in between doing fundraising, making flyers, and meeting with media to try to get his story out into the public.    Melinda Lopez went missing from Newport, Washington around November 2020. Ominous theories surround her disappearance. Melinda sadly found herself in a circle of drug addicted people; acquaintances who were addicted to methamphetamine where crime and mental illness was second nature. Sources say she attempted to leave, but her efforts were thwarted. Now, Melinda has been missing for approximately 3 months.
