In Spirit & Truth

There are few things more peaceful than being alone in God’s creation, listening to the waves crash along the shore with a slight ocean breeze. It’s paradise! In today’s message, Pastor JD teaches that the peace that God offers you is like that, only better. It’s a peace that exists even in the harshest of storms.

Have you ever been inside a funhouse at a carnival with all the crazy mirrors? It’s hard to get a grasp of what you truly look like because the image is so distorted. Today, Pastor JD teaches that God’s Word isn’t like these mirrors – it reveals the true you. When you see parts of yourself you don’t like, it’s not scripture’s fault.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, then you are kept. What does this mean? Well, Pastor JD teaches in today’s message that this means that as the world gets more shaky and sinister, Jesus keeps you close to His heart, remembering you, caring for you, protecting you, and not sharing you with the world.

Knowing that Jesus is the Holy One, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords is not the same as believing that Jesus is all those titles and more. Today, Pastor JD urges you to not just know it in your mind but believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. And not just know, but believe that He is returning soon.

Pastor JD declares to you in today’s message that the time to tell others about Jesus is now. Why? Because the return of Jesus is sooner today than it was yesterday. He’s coming, and if those around you don’t know that, who else will tell them? It’s time to declare the good news of Jesus Christ!

In today’s message, Pastor JD asserts that this time in history is the end of the end. But he implores you: Don’t take his word for it. Search the Scriptures to determine whether it’s true or not. And don’t be surprised when you are investigating the Bible that the Spirit will use the Word to work in your heart and mind.

We live in uncertain times. Technology is accelerating faster than the average user can keep up with, the Overton Window shifts daily, and most people haven’t even heard of the latest Grammy winners. Today, Pastor JD teaches that you don’t have to fear because, despite all this, God remains in control.

For many of us out there, it can be hard to relinquish control, can’t it? We have a hard time delegating because we want to know it’s done right. In today’s message, Pastor JD teaches that you can’t be in control of everything, but God can. Since you can’t control it all, you might as well humble yourself to the one who can.
