Nobody likes asking for help; we like to do things in our own strength, and slap our name on it just for proof. But Pastor JD reminds us today that, when things are impossible for you to accomplish, that’s when God likes to step in and get it done. He likes proving to us that He can do anything, especially when we can’t on our own.

Everyone wants to be liked; no one starts their day and thinks, I want everyone to pick a fight with me today. But being adored by this world should never be our goal. We tend to become attached to things quite easily. But today, Pastor JD reminds us how important it is to not become attached to this world because it will only let you down. As believers, we’re not citizens of earth, but of Heaven. If you become too worldly-minded, your focus is not where it needs to be: which is on Jesus.

Sadly...adversity and trials are some of the very best teachers we have as creatures of God. But, can you say what Pastor JD just said a moment ago? Can you say, “LORD, WHATEVER it takes...I want to walk in obedience to You...I want to bring You glory!” That's a brave prayer to pray.
