We usually assume unbelievers are the ones who thumb their noses at God and ignore Him, but even believers has the capacity to turn on Him. When Sennacherib threatened the people of Judah, he used a very old tactic of the devil- all he’s trying to do is get our eyes off of God.

It wouldn’t make sense to invest time and effort into tending a fruit tree only to never eat its fruit, right? The same is true for someone in ministry.
