Did you hear that a moment ago Christian? Pastor JD said...God can't do the work through us until He's done the work in us. This is so true. Anything else would be hypocrisy! You see, we need to humbly submit to God's work in our own lives long before we hope to affect those around us by the truths we're learning. This is what Paul meant by 'living epistles'.

It used to be that dark movies surrounding satanic themes only came out around halloween. But, now it seems that every other week a horror movie featuring the paranormal is being released. Why is that? Today we'll learn that this is because people are asking...is this real? Is the supernatural real? We know that it most certainly is...that's why we MUST point them to our supernatural Savior, Jesus!

Today we'll learn from Pastor JD that one of the best ways that we can bless God is by personal sacrifice. Because, when we sacrifice our own personal wants and desires, this displays the heart of Jesus. And this IS God's number one goal for our lives...that by the power of the Holy Spirit we would be made into the image of His Son Jesus.

Today Pastor JD shares with us five prophecies directly from the Koran that sound eerily familiar to what we know the Bible says about the coming antichrist. The Koran calls this figure the makdi. Pastor JD will also bring to light the similarities between the teachings of Islam and the Roman Catholic Church. Is it possible that the coming antichrist will be tied to both the Catholic Church AND Islam?

Did you know that the Bible details the moon being turned to blood in the very last days? Did you know that there are blood moons coming in the next couple of years that fall exactly on Feast Days as detailed in Leviticus chapter twenty three? These shocking facts can only point to one conclusion...we are in the very last days!

With all that's happening in our world today even many skeptics are beginning to see that the last days of Biblical prophecy are seemingly at our doorstep. So, what does this mean for us? Pastor JD will challenge us to allow the Holy Spirit to examine our lives and begin allowing Him to make those changes that cause us to be set apart in preparation for the return of our Bridegroom.

The world seems to be clamoring for unity in the various religious expressions. Stop and think about an orchestra, all unique instruments playing the same song...it's beautiful. But, when we take this concept over to the religious realm what we must realize is that we aren't playing the same song. Just like an orchestra with each part playing a different song...it would be noise in God's ears.

Pastor JD reminds us today that we should always keep a fresh memory in our minds of who we were before we received the cleansing provided in Christ. Remembering where we came from makes loving the unloveable much more easy. Jesus loved us and forgave us of so much...shouldn't we love others with that same love?

Jesus came for so many reasons...but, one of the core purposes was to unify those that would follow Him. Pastor JD reminds us today how grievous it is to the Father when we are divided as His Body. And yet, the exact opposite is true as well...when we are unified by His Word and His Spirit, He is honored and glorified!

It's been said...where God guides, God provides. This is often quoted in terms of financial matters. But, today we'll learn that this is also true of spiritual matters. God will never require us to do anything or obey anything in His Word if He hasn't also provided His grace to do so. God's grace is the power to obey!
