Robert "Bob" W. Cranmer is the author of the book The Demon of Brownsville Road: A Pittsburgh Family's Battle with Evil in Their Home. In 1988, Bob Cranmer and his family moved into 3406 Brownsville Road, Pennsylvania. Almost immediately, a series of strange things happened: furniture moving by itself; mysterious footsteps and knocking in the night; and then, the appearance of a terrifying, hooded Grim Reaper-like figure… Before too long, it was said that a demon had a grip on the house - and all who resided in it. In the end, the happenings reached such a peak that an exorcist was invited to the haunted property. Ultimately, however, only years of battle and endurance of some of the most horrific paranormal activity ever reported would shake the haunting.
