  • Chris Henry - Out of Work or Not
Chris Henry, a novice author based in Atlanta, Georgia, is one of the new kids on the block who is bringing fresh perspectives about everyday life to the written page.
His debut novel, Out of Work, homes in on the humor in real-life, on-the-job circumstances. This novel was born out of his belief that he can find “the funny” in almost any situation.
In Out of Work, Chris introduces megalomaniacal bosses, crazy co-workers, itty bitty paychecks, and much more. He explores unexpected family dynamics, like unstable relatives and finances. In all that, he somehow manages to find the laughter.

  • Boss Lady Publishing with S. Chameleon, Boo Jackson, and Nene Capri
Let's say "Hello!" to 3 authors from Boss Lady Publishing:
    * 6:00 pm (EST)/7:00 pm (AST) - S. Chameleon, "The Lordess" of Boss Lady Publishing, received her unique name because, likened to a chameleon, she has a highly developed ability to change or adapt her writing style to quench a reader's insatiable thirst. S. Chameleon, born in Saginaw, Michigan, moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where she flourishes. S. Chameleon has always been a "Boss" as a wife and a mother of 2. Writing is a talent she never took for granted. When she realized she had a story to tell, she carefully adapted her pen for the challenge.
    * 6:30 pm (EST)/7:30 pm (AST) - Boo Jackson, born in Kansas City, Kansas, is the oldest of 3 children. Growing up in Wyandotte County, the roughest and poorest county in Kansas, Boo endured her fair share of hardships and still managed to graduate ith honors from Wyandotte High School in 2002. Her entrance into college to study Psychology and Social Work was curtailed to satisfy her burning desire to share the collection of stories within her. Her first novel, penned at the age of 20 while working as a security guard, was the result of a bet she had with her baby sister.
Boo grabs her readers with engaging, unique story lines, touching all subjects from romance, street life, lust, and racism. Her style is fast-paced while remaing detail-orientated, witty, and extremely humorous.
     * 7:00 pm (EST)/8:00 pm (AST) - Ne Ne Capri is an author of Urban Fiction, or as it has been termed, Street-Literature. She came on the scene in 2011 breaking boundaries with her first title The Trap. NeNe signed with Wahida Clark Presents Publishing and then began to build her personal brand which she has coined #Trappin.

  • Africah Harrigan Lives Life Like a Tourist
Travel with Africah, the newest of the endeavors of Africah Harrigan, is a weekly blog that features activities, events, and fun things that she has done while traveling. Throughout her years of traveling, Africah has often found that people are a lot more enthusiastic to explore or try new things once they venture out from their hometown. However, they are the same people, who often overlook the beauty and attractions of their hometown and will probably opt to remain homebodies or follow a daily routine.
Whether you are a traveler or not, her philosophy is to “Live Life like a Tourist!” No matter where you are. By this, she means to explore new activities, attend a variety of events, or tantalize your taste buds with a new delicacy. Each place is unique. For instance, you can drive on a highway in Portland, Oregon that is parallel to snow-capped mountains, or drive alongside the aqua blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean on the waterfront in downtown Charlotte Amalie, U.S. Virgin Islands! Sit back, relax and join the journey with her.
    . . . . . . . . . .
Africah Harrigan is a television personality who has hosted several television programs, recorded voiceovers for radio and television commercials, and has represented businesses as an on-camera spokesperson. When she is not working, she enjoys sharing her travel experiences.

  • Patricia K McCarthy and Her Crimson Series of Vampire Novels
Patricia K McCarthy is Ottawa’s fang queen. Her Crimson series of vampire novels tell the unconventional love story of Samuel and Magdalene Crimson, and are part-blood bath and part-bubble bath. Her writing teases readers to make it to the end of each chapter alive. Patricia was riding the vampire wave before there was one, which accounts for her flirtation with the dark art of satire. Read her Crimson series and you may never feel the same again as you walk the streets of Ottawa when the sun goes down.
As an indie publisher, Patricia’s knowledge of the business has been honed over the past fifteen years. Her interest in writing showed itself at six years of age. She has attended workshops on the fundamentals of writing, editing, and promotion, as well as having published three collections of passionate erotic poetry. Her work has been published in the U.K., Canada, and the U.S. In the beginning, her poetry evolved to short vampire stories and these in turn inspired her to begin the Crimson vampire series, which represents the last decade of her writing accomplishments. In between writing novels, she crafts short stories and works in Ottawa. Her work has received extensive publicity in Ottawa and elsewhere; copies of her media interviews can be read online. (See her website for details.)
Patricia divides her time between writing and work, coaching new authors, making appearances at fantasy fairs and exhibitions as well as holding workshops on Writing Fantasy Fiction.

  • Kai Storm, The Hardest Worker in the Business
Born in Panama in 1972, Kai came to New York in 1981 with her mother. She discovered her writing gift as a junior at Boys & Girls High School when an English teacher gave her an assignment to develop a story from just one paragraph and since then, her pen was hot.
Through the years, Kai continued to write any and everything not only to keep her gift alive but also for therapeutic reasons. She decided to pen the first 3 chapters of Alani’s Bigger Hustle. Only after she submitted the first 3 chapters did she decide to write the rest of the book “just to see what I would do with it”. “This story literally lived inside of me since I was 12 years old, it grew up with me and I knew one day it would be out in the world for all to see, it just had to!”
Kai, first signed to a publishing house in August 2008, was ready to be published in October 2010 when she discovered the company was not all ready to release her book. On Facebook, Kai found Twenty First Street Urban Editing & Publishing, LLC, that brought Alani’s Bigger Hustle to life.
In 1997 Kai was blessed with her first daughter, Africa, followed by another daughter, Agodess, in 2009. On Facebook, Kai is nicknamed “The hardest worker in the business!” and when you meet her, you know why!
