His talent as a songwriter is evident on both albums. "I always thought you had to be born a writer," Jaydee says about his formative songwriting days. "I was a frustrated 14 year-old kid trying to write songs, not understanding why they didn't sound like the ones I loved. I was trying to write about what I thought people wanted to hear. But the secret is to write about what you go through. Everyone will have had those experiences and they can relate." May 09, 2013Interview with Danielle LoweEdmonton, Alberta Country music singer/songwriter DANIELLE LOWE is one of the most active young performers in the province of Alberta and has been a strong community contributor, donating her time and her voice to numerous non-profit organizations. In addition, Danielle’s big voice and dynamic stage presence have been featured at a number of high-profile events in Edmonton, including the Canadian Finals Rodeo, Oilers Hockey, Oil Kings, Edmonton Indy, the Premiere’s dinner, Lois Hole Harvest Celebration and the list goes on. Danielle has also been a favorite at several festivals and other outdoor events including Camrose’s Big Valley Jamboree and has opened for acts such as Michelle Wright and High Valley. She is the only singer in Edmonton’s history to win all three major vocal competitions as a junior in the same year: Futures Fest, Country Vocal Spotlight and Northern Star. Danielle’s first CD Off Limits was released in May of 2011 to a sold-out crowd at the Edmonton Event Centre and she received a warm welcome to country music radio in Canada with three single releases from that album being picked up by dozens of stations across the country. Johnny was so impressed with Tia, he invited her backstage to introduce her to June. Johnny Cash wasn’t the only one who recognized a shining star. Soon heavy weights like Randy Bachman (BTO), Dan Hill (Celine Dion), Andrew Gold, Mark Slaughter (Rock Band “Slaughter”), and countless others, were inviting Tia to write and record with them. May 02, 2013Interview with Trinity BradshawSummerside, PEI native TRINITY BRADSHAW has been singing at telethons, charity events, and various community events since she was three years old. She appeared on the TV show Emily Of New Moon, and won various local competitions, before becoming the youngest winner of the Summerside Festival Talent Search at age 14. In 2011, she moved to Calgary, Alberta to continue developing her skills as a roots, rock, pop and country crossover artist. 2012 was perhaps Trinity's most exciting year yet as she spent several months in the studio with producer Trey Mills (Melanie Fiona, X-Quisite, Canadian Brass) recording songs for her debut EP. Having written with hit songwriters Brian G.White ("Watching You" by Rodney Atkins) Steve Pasch (Gretchen Wilson), Jayce Hein (Jason Aldean), Joel Shewmake (Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry) and Pete Sallis (Philip Philips), Jamie’s soon-to-be-released album (May 2013) entitled PRETTY GOOD START was recorded at Legends Studio in Nashville.
