It's the festive season, a time to be merry and James isn't having it. James and Randell kind of talk about Christmas. James talks about his traumatic encounter with a giant Santa Claus in Queen Street and his dislike of camping. Randell and James then dive into memory lane as they talk about their High School days. James and Randell talk about flags and miraculously stay mostly on topic. The New Zealand Flag referendum is mentioned. James and Randell sing praises for the Japanese prefecture flags but not so much for the US State flags. Randell can't say municipal, James struggle through saying vexillology, Randell remains clueless about a lot of things, and the best flag of all gets a shout out; the Laser Kiwi.

The Dynamic Duo are back at it again and they start with the very entertaining topic of Podcast Admin. James urges Randell into talking about the theatre shows he's been part of, which is now a month back. They talk about names, Archimedes, a Politics paper, and James' open door policy.

Randell and James are back and they’re getting metaphysical. They bumble their way through a thought experiment. Discuss what it would be like to be immortal. Randell tries to shoehorn all the plays he’s read during the year and Nick Cave, the prince of darkness, gets a mention.

James and Randell talk about volcanoes in Auckland and for once, they mostly keep to the topic. Randell’s Mum makes an appearance and Randell shows his true colours as a pampered baby. James and Randell have been going to theatre shows lately. They've both seen Cradle Song by Te Rēhia Theatre Company and Orientation by Proudly Asian Theatre. They talk about the shows, Dr. James Wenley, spirituality, New Zealand's progressive identity, and white bread.

James and Randell are back and they start talking about the Auckland International College and then switch to talking about Australia-New Zealand relationship. They completely underestimate the city of Canberra and one day Randell and James will go on a road trip through the outback.
