Happy Tuesday, creeps and freaks! This week, Michelle talks about the 2013 murder of 21-year-old Hanna Harris, a Native woman from the Northern Cheyenne tribe in Montana. Her death was a catalyst for many proposed changes to how missing indigenous persons cases are handled. May 5th (what was Hanna's birthday), is now observed as the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls throughout the U.S. and Canada. There is still so much more work to be done, but if we help magnify the voices of the indigenous community, we can continue to see progress and see real change be made. Happy Tuesday, creeps and freaks! This week, Courtney tells us about the Hollywood Ripper. This sadistic monster was responsible for the murders of Tricia Pacaccio (18), Ashley Ellerin (22) and Maria Bruno (32), as well as the attempted murder of Michelle Murphy (26). Though it is believed there could have been more victims. But thanks to advances in modern DNA testing, he was finally brought to justice (although, that's still debatable at this point).

In the early morning hours of April 30, 2011, Vasthi Seacat was trapped in her home as it was engulfed in flames. The question that plagued investigators was whether her death was a result of the fire, suicide, or homicide. There were a lot of twists and turns that eventually lead them to the right answer.
