  • Ethics, taxes and budgets, oh my! Gun play, name calling and more, alright!
    It's Friday 13th so from 8AM-10AM EST let's go for broke. Baseball Spring Training has begun so let's go for a home run. Let's see how many people we can offend this morning in the game we call politics. On  my list are those politicians opposing FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) and Ethics in politics. Let's not leave out the use of Eminent Domain. While we're at it we may as well look at politicians as they Play Guns with the Constitution. and by all means we must talk about the rush by "Conservatives" to raise taxes!

  • Part 2: Fiscal responsibility minus responsibility = Disaster

    Name me one politico who has ever stated, "I do not believe in fiscal responsibility." If there has been anyone who has openly made that statement  we have found the first honest politician (well, at least when it comes to fiscal matters).  Part of every campaign are pronouncements of being a "fiscal conservative".  My first question for all politicos is "What does fiscal responsibility mean?" or "How when you bring fiscal responsibilty to the State of South Carolina or the Federal Budget?" Instant stammering and I will study comments are regurgitated.

  • Fiscal responsibility minus the responsibility equals disaster!

In addition, we will attempt to attach a real definition to the term "Fiscal Responsibility".

  • Politicos vs hi-tech communication; Fed Judge rules on stay; and more
    Today we are going to look at some things that seem fairly simple to understand: the dangers of misusing high-tech in communication. Politicians are starting to understand the is a 'Clear and Present Danger' when using modern communications tools. Example: Hillary Clinton and emails!
    Also on the list of topics: Federal judge tells Obama  (in my lingo) "Whoa there buddy. not so fast." Immigration issue still on hold. Senator Lindsey Graham gets the message across that he is serious about a run for the White House.

  • GOP Senate fails Keystone override; SCOTUS split on ACA subsidies, What's next?

    The so called "GOP controlled Senate" took another 'whup'n' with it's failure to override Obama's veto of legislation approving the Keystone XL pipeline. How did this failure happen? Is the pipeline plugged or is there still a chance to move this project forward? 
    The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has definitely left the ACA (aka Obamacare) "In the Pickle Barrel". Do not expect a quick answer on this very important ruling. When and how will SCOTUS finally address this issue?
