Still in the potter's house, the vessel of clay on the wheels: man in his process of making fell. After the maker has successfully made something, just before finishing up it was marred. The potter started fixing it almost immediately. He will never give up on you and me.

A quick journey in to the potter's house and the place of making opens us up to some wisdom behind our making. The desire of God is to mould us in to vessels that can be deployed as an extension of His government on Earth, that until we are good in His sight He would not give up on our making.

Most of the things you will get after all are in the provisions of God for you in that season not necessarily because they are very good and you have good plans towards achieving them.

The things we allow in our hearts (thoughts, imaginations and lust are strong enough to take over the place of God in our hearts. These things can't compete with God in reality but they have the ability to take his place in our hearts. Hence, the need to guard our hearts so we won't make for ourselves idols and the place of God in us won't be traded for anything.
