Rabbi Shmuel Klammer, Ed.D. is Dean of Touro College Israel. Previously, he was Head of Shulamith School for Girls of Brooklyn. Prior to that, he served as Principal of the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach (HALB) and Maimonides School in Boston. Rabbi Klammer has also taught many different grades over the years and served as a shul Rav. He spent three years in Eretz Yisrael, two at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and one in Yerushalayim at the Gruss Kollel. He has a B.A., M.S. (Jewish Education) from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education Yeshiva University, semicha from Yeshivat Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchanan (RIETS) and an Ed. M. and Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University. Over the last sixteen years Rabbi Klammer has overseen and developed the curriculum for the Program in Jewish Education for the Touro Graduate School of Jewish Studies and has served as Adjunct Professor. He teaches courses on Curriculum, Classroom Management, Classroom Practicum, Skillful & Effective Teacher, Positive Psychology in the Classroom, and Differences in Boys’ and Girls’ Learning.

Within UGEI, Luca has served in multiple leadership roles since 2018, including Treasurer and Director of HaTikwa, UGEI’s official magazine, which he helped modernise and expand digitally. Elected President in 2024, he focuses on strengthening institutional relations, combating antisemitism—particularly in academic environments—and fostering Jewish identity and youth participation.

At the university, Dr. Levitz held the distinguished Carl and Dorothy Bennett Chair in Pastoral Counseling, directed the MSW Program for Clergy, served as the inaugural Dean of Students for Yeshiva and Stern College, and pioneered the field of Rabbinic Counseling.

Michael Bielický is a Czech-German media artist and professor known for his innovative work in video art, interactive installations, and new media. He emigrated to Germany as a teenager, studied under Nam June Paik at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, and later served as a professor in the New Media Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Today he teaches at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design and continues to collaborate with major institutions like ZKM Karlsruhe, exploring real-time data, navigational systems, and virtual environments. His significant works include the video sculptures Menora/Inventur (1989), the GPS-based Exodus (1995), and, in collaboration with Kamila B. Richter, the web-based, algorithm-driven series Falling Times, Columbus 2.0, and Lost Objects.
