We hate to keep talking about COVID, but it has made such an impact on the automotive market that is still trying to level out.

While car sales and supplies have been the headlines, the lease segment has been mostly ignored.  Joining us on this episode of In Wheel Time Car Talk is Scott Kunes, the COO of Kunes Auto & RV Group.  With 26 years in the auto business, the family has also expanded in the the RV business.

During 20-23, the market saw a shortage of vehicles, then interest rates started pushing demand down, and the cycle seems to continue...or does it?  Join us to hear more about this segment of the automotive market.

In our Feature segment, it is Konrad's Car Clinic.  This week, Konrad DeLong is sharing about a tool that a lot of us don't have, and don't understand.  When a modern vehicle has some 'issues', it produces codes to communicate what the issue is.  Then it is a matter of 'reading the code' and then understanding what it means.

For sometime now, we have been visiting with God's Garage, located in the Conroe, Texas, area.   
Sometimes it is hard to imagine the hardships of other people, such as not having a vehicle.  No car means walking to the grocery store with children in tow.  Maybe a walk to the daycare isn't so bad unless it is miles away with no public transportation.  Work?  
This is a group of volunteers that are working to assist single moms, particularly veteran moms that don't have a vehicle which makes life a lot harder.  Each month, they get over 120 applications for assistance, and while it would be great to help everyone, that is just not life.  So there is a process...
With more on the great work this group is doing, Brad Thompson, joins us as the team moves into a new building.  A building designed to help even more people.

Long time automotive Jack Nerad has become one of our favorite quests.  Not only does he have a lot of automotive knowledge and experience, but he has a sense of humor.  Jack lives on the West Coast, so he sees a lot of things a little different, or maybe it is just a lot of different things, so it is always a fun talk.

We first met Vinnie Tortorella down in Galveston, Texas, where he was showing one of his cars, as well as a customer car.  Vinnie was setup right next to our remote studio broadcast booth, and we stared at his display all morning.  Finally got him to agree to join us for an interview, and it was great.  Now that COVID has wrecked havoc, we thought we would check in and see how Muscle Cars of Texas is doing.
