In this special episode where we mark Global Disability Awareness Day, we speak to Kamran Mallick, CEO of Disability Rights UK, a principal partner of ELIEZ. Kamran leads DRUK, which is the UK’s largest user-led organisation for disabled people.

In this episode, we speak with Emma Lawton, co-founder of More Human, a venture she started as part of the zinc.vc cohort and is now part of the ELIEZ programme.

More Human are building tools to help local communities be more sustainable and give them greater reach to support those who need them the most. She also leads the Devices and Apps project at Parkinson’s UK where she oversees the charity’s technology testing process and panel. She is fascinated by technology and the vital role it can play in enhancing the lives of those living with health conditions. And when she’s not busy building her tech empire, Emma is a budding stand-up comic and freelance writer.

Andrew was a crucial part of the development of Here East, and led Plexal, which has become one of the most important innovation centres in London. We speak to Andrew about the work Plexal is doing on accessibility, our ELIEZ partnership and the future of entrepreneurship.
