Join this journey from blood-colored waterfalls, to a hill where gravity works backwards, to a giant crater that is eternally on fire. And don't miss the last few minutes, where Scoff has to try and guess which of these phenomenon are real, and which one is fake. 

Scoff and Wonk examine the case of the Ammons Haunting Case, also known as the House of 200 Demons. Mother Latoya Ammons and her 3 children experience an intense case of apparent demonic possession, witnessed by friends, medical examiners, priests, the Department of Children's Services, and police officers from multiple police departments (2012). 

Scoff and Wonk discuss the case of Peter Skyllberg, a middle-aged man found in a car buried under 2 feet of snow. First responders were baffled to discover that he had survived -30 degree temperatures for two months, eating nothing but the snow off of his car (2012). 

Scoff and Wonk discuss one of the strangest cases of missing people found alive. Gabriel Nagy, an Australian husband and father, vanished from his burnt out car and was believed to be dead until 23 years later...when he was discovered to be alive and well and living in complete ignorance of the fact that he was even missing (1987).

Finally...Scoff and Wonk recap all of the poutines eaten during weeks of taste-testing, and put the best of the best side by side to determine, once and for all, which is the greatest poutine to be found in the area!

This week, Scoff and Wonk examine the spooky case of The Crying Boy Curse, a story linked to fires from across the UK which, reportedly, ignited without explanation and left behind nothing but an unsinged copy of the painting. If you think that sounds creepy, throw in a backstory about a mysterious street urchin nicknamed "diablo", and this just got even more bizarre (1980s). 

Scoff and Wonk talk about the heartwarming case of the David Godseys, a father and son reunited after a 26 year separation. When Karen Trent phoned an operator in the hope of locating two distant family friends, she never expected to, by sheer fate or happy coincidence, call the numbers of two strangers who just happened to be each other's long-lost relative (1999). 

This week, Scoff and Wonk taste poutines from Wendy's and Fatburger in the final bracket of this round! In another close match, Fatburger gains the advantage, but is eventually beaten out by the amazing Black Swan poutine from last week!

Trigger warning: This week's episode is an intense account of survival, which deals with heavy themes, including attempted suicide. Listener discretion is advised. Scoff and Wonk tell the amazing survival story of Mauro Prosperi, a competitor in the famously difficult Marathon Des Sables in Morocco. Prosperi was caught in not one, but two sandstorms and was left wandering though the Sarahara Desert in 115 degree heat with only some keen instincts and a small survival pack to help him while he awaited rescue (1994).
