Eric Morris is the host of the forthcoming hunting show, "Nontypical Outdoorsman," a U.S. Army veteran, and a tireless advocate to increase the racial diversity of the hunting and fishing community. He joins the podcast from the Outdoor Writers Association of America conference to discuss his efforts to get new hunters in the field, how conservation clubs and organizations can better diversify their ranks, how the images we portray of hunting affect recruitment efforts, how historical racial violence impacts hunting participation today, the story of Holt Collier, the guide and hunter behind Theodore Roosevelt's "teddy bear" incident.
