To take this next evolutionary step in the most progressive way. Is going to require us to question how that step will be taken. Who will be initially programming this artificial intelligence? In many ways, it’s become the next space race. What will these initial computerized beings be made for?

When you were born, were you ready to live? Who taught you how to live? Who taught you what a ‘normal’ life was? Why is that normal? How many places have you visited in this physicality we call reality? How many languages do you speak? How many different cultures can you reach?

Now in answering those questions, think about AI. How many languages artificial intelligence can speak. It’s not just one computer, no, it’s hundreds, if not thousands across the globe, all connected, all pulling from a massive database, if one computer goes down, there are more to solve the equation to complete the task at hand.

How are individual humans supposed to compete with that?

Living & Dreams, What is in between? Today’s episode is about sleepy dreams. Dreams and Sleep and everything in between.

As a creative, I am a big proponent of writing dreams down. So much inspiration comes from them, a lot of it admittedly doesn’t make sense, but that’s the wonderous joy of it. These otherworldly places that our minds can imagine, it’s a lot to take in, and it’s very difficult to even put into words, especially if you’re not a natural writer.

Like any exercise, writing is certainly that, just like running, it just takes practice. You can’t run a marathon the first time you start running, no you have to build up to it. The more you do it the better you become.

And of course, what do you need to do in order to dream? You need to sleep.

In the podcast trailer, I talked about several life experiences that inspired this project. So I wanted this first episode to dive a little deeper into those and to also introduce myself to those who don’t know me, or those who knew me in a past life. The only constant in life is change. Life changes us. We either adapt or die. We woke up today, with that simple act we are already more resilient than the day before if we choose to see it.

Who says we have to keep the same name our entire lives? How is that normal? Because it’s the way it’s always been done?

Writing and creating art is a very lonely process. So, I wanted this next creative endeavor to be more inclusive of those I care about. I want to let them into my creative process as I write this pseudo-autobiography. Where I will connect my personal life experiences to those that I wrote about allegorically in my first two novels.

I really look forward to this project and hope you will join me on this indefatigable journey through this fickle tormenting gift of life.
