यं वैदिका मन्त्रदृशः पुराणा

शैवा यमीशं शिव इत्यवोचन्

शास्तेति केचित् प्रकृतीक कुमारः

Whom (Yam) the Vaidika Mantradrashah (those who have understood the Vedas and to whom the mantras were revealed), the Puranas (stories and history of ancient times) and other sacred scrip­tures call: Indram (Indra, the God of Gods), Yamam (Yama, the eternal timeless God) and Mātariśvā (present everywhere like air). Whom the Vedāntins (those who follow the philosophy of Vedānta), indicate by the word Brahma as the One (ekam) which cannot be described or explained (Nirvachaniya).

Whom the Śaivas call (Avochan) the Omnipotent (Yamisham) Śiva and Vaishnavas praise (stuvanti) as Vishnu, the Buddhists and Jains (Baudhajainaha) respectively call as Buddha and Arhant (without any end), whom the Sikh sages (Sikh-santaha) call Sat Śrī Akāl (the timeless Truth).

Some (kecit) call Whom as Śāstā, others (katicit) Kumāra, some call It Swāmī (Lord of the Universe and protector of all), some Mātā (divine mother) or Pitā (father). To whom they offer prayers, It (Sa) is the same and the only One (Eka Eva), without a second (advitiyah).

अर्थ: प्राचीन काल के मन्त्रद्रष्टा ऋषियों ने जिसे इंद्र, यम, मातरिश्वान (वैदिका देवता) कहकर पुकारा और जिस एकअनिर्वचनीय को वेदान्ती ब्रह्म शब्द से निर्देश करते हैं। शैव जिसकी शिव और वैष्णव जिसकी विष्णु कहकर स्तुति करते हैं। बौद्ध और जैन जिसे बुद्ध और अर्हन्त कहते हैं तथा सिक्ख सन्त जिसे सत् श्री अकाल कहकर पुकारते हैं। जिस जगत के स्वामी को कोई शास्ता तो कोई प्रकृति , कोई कुमारस्वामी कहते हैं तो कोई जिसको स्वामी , माता-पिता कहकर भक्तिपूर्वक प्रार्थना करते हैं, वह प्रभु एक ही है और अद्वितीय है अर्थात् उसका कोई जोड़ नहीं है।

The Kashi Corridor project in Varanasi connects the iconic Baba Vishwanath temple and the ghats along the river Maa Ganga.

The project is aimed at ensuring easy movement of pilgrims and devotees between the ghats and the temple. Earlier, they had to pass through congested streets to reach the temple.

This improvement of the infrastructure in Varanasi is expected to give a boost to tourism in the region.
