The PEI team at Indian Health Council dives deep into the shady world of scams. Scammers conduct fraudulent acts against not just elders, but people of all ages and backgrounds globally everyday to the tune of multiple billions of dollars a year. The team tries to help listeners recognize the scams and provides suggestions on how to avoid them.
Closing out Mental Health Awareness Month the IHC PEI team discuss how it's important to both let other's know that you are a safe space for them to come to if they are in crisis, but also that it's important to make sure your follow up and assistance is solid.
