A trip to the Minneapolis area wouldn't be complete without dropping by the Polaris and Indian Motorcycle.

Assistant Marketing Director, Chelsea Hennen was gracious enough to give us a little time and an update on the exciting activities Indian Motorcycle has set for this summer.

It was time to connect with my friend RidingFish. It was a year ago when he came to Colorado and we kicked off a collaboration that I never would have expected.

In 2020, he narrowly missed the opportunity to add another  American Flat Track Championship to his already impressive racing resume.  This year, he and Indian Wrecking Crew teammate Briar Bauman will go head to head again, in front of the field and wheel to wheel. Motorcycle manufacturers used to spec out tires and what they thought they'd like on their bikes and look for the lowest bidder. Those days are over.

The Indian Challenger can be credited with pushing the demands of modern motorcycle tires to a new level to meet the needs of this original "power bagger".  Indian reached out to Metzeler/Pirelli and the Cruisetec tire was born to give today's rider a tire with the performance characteristics the bike demands.

Tyler Porter is a Metzeler Tire Product Specialist who was hands on in the development and testing of the Cruisetec and he and I, talk tires.
