It’s the start of hour number two here on Network Indiana’s Indiana Sports Talk, and Coach Bob Lovell and Brendan King start off the hour recapping all 34 cars from Fast Friday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Next up, Pat Boylan, the voice of the Indiana Fever joins Coach in talking about the Fever’s opening night loss tonight. They talk the #1 overall pick, Aliyah Boston, and how the fans are starting to get behind the rebuild. After that, Luke Martin, with the Indiana State Sycamores, checks in with Coach Lovell about Sycamore Baseball and Luke Martin tells Coach about the Sycamores historic season, and what things look like moving forward in the Valley Conference. Next on IST, from indianarbi.com, Steve Krah joins Coach in talking about some high school and college baseball from around the state, and he goes on to talk about the best 4A and 3A matchups in the sectionals which get underway this Wednesday and Thursday. Adam Alexander joins the show to catch up with Coach Lovell and talk some racing. The guys talk about how COVID has affected the way the season of racing has changed.

It’s another Friday night which means Network Indiana’s Indiana Sports Talk is back! Coach Bob Lovell and Brendan King start off the show joined by the voice of the Indianapolis 500, Mark Jaynes. Mark and Coach Lovell first talk about how hard it is to broadcast the Indy 500, and then the two go on to talk about the race and what Fast Friday meant to the racers this year. Then, Samantha Dewey of the Indy Eleven Women’s team joins the show to talk her soccer journey and the team this year, after getting an 8-0 win to start the season over St. Charles FC. Sam is an alum of Triton Central High School southeast of Indianapolis and Xavier University and spent the last couple of years playing professionally overseas. Finally, Greg Rakestraw spends some time talking Indiana high school basketball because after all, it wouldn’t be Indiana Sports Talk without it. To close the show, as you should’ve expected, Greg gives an update on the incredible success of the spring athletic programs at UIndy as the entire crew today holds degrees from the University of Indianapolis.
