To start of the final hour of Network Indiana’s Indiana Sports Talk, John Herrick and Sam Fritz are joined by Howard Kellman, the voice of the Indianapolis Indians, to talk Indians baseball and headline what the legend is looking forward to next week with the Indians. Staying inside the diamond, the voice of the Fort Wayne Tincaps, Mike Maahs, joins the show to discuss the Tincaps big win earlier tonight and one of the craziest sequences he has ever seen on a baseball field. After that on IST, Ryan Myrehn joins John Herrick to talk Indycar series, and how Myrehn got to talk with Marcus Ericsson after his history making performance in last weekend’s Indianapolis 500 mile race. Closing out this Friday night on IST, from the IU Radio Network, Don Fischer joins the show to discuss Indiana University sports, starting off with IU football, Fischer explains the struggles last year for a new under-experienced coaching staff and disappointment associated with it, plus some returning stars that IU fans have to look forward to this upcoming season. Fischer goes on to talk IU basketball, the returning starters in the Hoosiers lineup as well as Mike Woodson’s expectations this upcoming year for his squad. Brendan King, the voice of the South Bend Cubs joins John Herrick to close out the last couple minutes of the show to discuss the Cubs big week ahead.
