A live mix from Abdul Smooth (http://abdulsmooth.com) featuring brand new tunes from Foreign Beggars, Kailash Kher, Balkan Beat Box, Anuj Rastogi and more! Heavily glitch/dub-step influenced, this mix builds on the aesthetic of the past two Indian Electronica podcast episodes.
Back on the wheels of steel, Abdul Smooth drops a range of rhythms and tempos with a slightly dark but emotive dubstep backbone.
Back on the decks again, [ie] podcast host Abdul Smooth mixes up an array of fresh beats – merging eclectic breaks and d’n’b with progressive 4/4 rhythms.
Running just under an hour, this show features two live sets from the ’07 Indian Electronica Festival in Bombay, India – by 3rd Thought Collective members KarGo and Khoparzi; both were recorded live on Dec 29, 2007.

Chicago USA based DJ/producer Tony Estrada is internationally known through his mixed sets on XTC Radio London as well as his recently released ‘New Orleans’ album from Fiberline Audio (available on iTunes).
This mix is expressive of Tony’s particular love of progressive electronic music grounded in the world’s cultures – with selections from artists like Bill Laswell, Banco de Gaia and the Dead can Dance, this mix exemplifies an aural aesthetic of journey – something XTC Radio listeners already are familiar with when opening their ears to Tony’s eclectic sets.
