The first bill is H.R.91, the Columbia River In-Lieu and Treaty Fishing Access Sites Improvement Act. The bill authorizes improvements in living conditions at treaty sites along the Columbia River in Oregon and Washington.

The second bill is H.R.317, the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Land Affirmation Act. The bill places about 1,400 acres in California in trust for the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians. It was immediately approved by a vote voice.

Later in the day, H.R.91 was approved by a vote of 396 to 18.
