This week on the podcast the boys welcome back Nathan Ludwig as GenreBlast IV nears. Also on the podcast is one of the other masterminds behind the festival, Raygan Ketterer. They dig into what makes a great film festival as well as what makes a....well not so great one. What have the boys been watching lately, well you're about to find out. Nathan and Raygan dig into some of the films that will be showing at GenreBlast IV and Joe and Zane talk about their experience last year as well as their plans for this year; they will have all things Scream Team photo ops, autographs and touching of Zane's hair. Join us at GenreBlast IV at the Alamo Draft House in Winchester VA on August 8/29-9/1 and get Blasted and Infested!
Just in time for the weekend the boys of Indie Infestation make your summer weekend even hotter as Joe, Zane and Mike get fully exposed with writer/director Austin Snell as they talk about his new film available from Scream Team Releasing entitled "Exposure". The guys unwind and talk about 'getting a little respect' and trying to discover a little something to make them sweeter'. What's new in the theaters, what classic is on YouTube, how was VHS Fest 3 at the Mahoning Drive In? Well prepare to have all your wildest dreams come true as the boys bring the heat!
Happy Independence Day! What better way to celebrate as you are grilling out and consuming beverages then to get consumed by the firework display that is your favorite podcast, Indie Infestation! This week Joe and Zane welcome guest host Chad "don't call me Burns" Bruns who has acted in the indie hit "10/31" and stars in the upcoming "Force to Fear". The fellas welcome a guest from north of the border, writer/producer/director Sebastian Godin. Sebastian talks about his film "Slimoids" which is currently available and gives us a look into his next film which will begin filming shortly entitled "Dinogore". Tune in as Joe asks the tough questions, Zane brushes his new hair weave and Chad tries to push Buffy on Zane with an assist from Joe. Justin was not with us but his new sweet, salty product is and Cookie Lips was putting in another shift at the dock but Joe made sure to mention "White Doomsday" in his stead. Now fire up the grill, grab your beverages and safely set off some fireworks as the independent tones of the Infestation consume you!
What a delightful Friday for y'all! Time to kick off your weekend with the latest installment of Indie Infestation! This week we have writer/director Rion Smith whose YouTube Channel Creepy TV is a haven for short indie horror films. The films are building towards something big and you all need to check them out. This was Rion's first interview so when he blows up, remember where you heard him first! We missed Zane this week as he was off getting something top secret done to his hair. Never fear though because Joe, Justin and Mike bring the noise.
We're going to need a bigger podcast as we welcome the monstrous writer/director John Hale! John talks about his most excellent creature feature short "The Conduit" that is a homage to John's favorite monster films. Speaking of monsters the kaiju sized crew of Joe, Zane and Mike had to carry the weight as Justin was off resting after his latest pudding venture. Joe gets into his Night of Something Strange with Jonathan Straiton as well as the secret to his quick recovery from gallbladder surgery, Zane puts the comb down and gets forgetful and we find out the John really wants Cookie Lips in his next film! Now it's time to get swole and pump the volume to 11 as the monstrous guttural tones of the Infestation consume you!
The weekend is here and so is the latest episode of Indie Infestation with actress/writer/director/producer, the awesomely talented Rakefet Abergel. Rakefet talks about her upcoming short Boo and her roles in films such as Superbad" and "My Best Friend's Girl". The boys even coerce her to give up some Hollywood dirt! Cookie Lips is back and gives Indie Infestation the breaking news of his new purchase, Zane busts out the peanut butter, Justin head for the great white north and Joe gets ready to go under the knife. I hope you're hungry because this week's sponsor will have you frothing at the mouth.
Friday is the end of the work week and the end of the work week just got better! Not because Endgame is sweeping the nation, no; the Infestation is taking over the nation with the latest episode featuring Writer/Director/Producer PJ Starks and Producer Eric Huskisson. Justin is finally back as he was busy producing his new product requested by Jeremy Adkins; the fans demand it and the Infestation supplies it; we are a podcast for the people! Joe reveals what the original name of the podcast almost was, Zane dons the Infinity gauntlet and Mike reveals what is lingerie of choice is. Strap in this is a good one that discusses the future of crowd funding and wonders if it is yesterday's tomatoes. Now kick back your heels, grab your popcorn and crank the volume to 11 as the sweet tones of the Infestation consume you!
Saturday just became an amazing day for you as the boys of Indie Infestation are releasing their latest podcast that has not 1, not 2 but 3 most excellent guests....Richard Stringham of "Close Calls", the pantless one Antonio Pantoja of "One Must Fall" and the mastermind of "Murder Made Easy", David Palamaro. The guys fought through the latest Skype update with echos for what turned out to be a fun filled extravaganza of awesomeness. Justin was not there but his new chewing gum spot was! So sashay on over to iTunes, Google Play or wherever you get your stellar podcasts and download A Close Call Where One Falls During an Easy Murder. Now grab a cold one, kick back in your favorite chair and crank it up to 11 as you let the sonic sounds of the Infestation Consume you!
It's that time, even though the weekend is almost over, consider it made as the new episode of Indie Infestation is live with director Tony Wash. The fellas get all washed up with Tony as they chat about his anthology "Skeletons in the Closet" and some of his other work. Although Justin was not there a new Bianca Allaine inspired product is. Joe, Zane and Mike carry the load (pun kind of intended).
On this week's episode the fellas welcome back almost regular host Mike Lombardo as the attempt to tame the dominating Bianca Allaine as they talk about her upcoming film Zombinatrix. The guys tell of their most excellent experience at Monstermania with Joe and Mike as the pitch men. Bianca shares the real horrors of working on some scary film sets, Justin wants to paint your ceiling, Zane gives away films at Monstermania, Mike retains the title of Cookie Lips and Joe just wants some chicken marinara. Last but not least....shout out to James!
