Hello Komiks People! Panoorin niyo itong live interview ni Marbin Macalino sa Indie komiks podcast. Si Marbin Macalino o “Marbindamartian” ay isang mangguguhit at manunulat ng kwentong pambata, at ilustrador at komikero. Siya ay nakapagtapos sa UST sa kursong “Fine Arts Major in Advertising” noong 2018. Marbin is also a kid at heart, where evidently in most of his works embody creativity, imagination, and positivity; showing his fondness in exploring different worlds and galaxies in his art. He continues to dream of inspiring kids who desire to pursue art in the future through the craft that he does. Marbin was featured on the Graphika Online Art E-book in 2021 and 2022, Komiket’s Kommunity Kids 2023 and Philippine Daily Inquirer last October 5, 2024. He started his own comics called “KomiCan: U can do komiks” in 2020, and he also self-published his first children’s book in 2023 entitled “Ang Dilaw Kong Tsinelas,” that continues to be sold in his partner store “Lemon Drop” located in Escolta, Manila as well as at special events he participates in. @marbindamartian on IG
