Surrender frees us from anger, fear and shame. 

It is the letting go of the need to control which derives in the ego. 

It has taken me four months to finally surrender and let go of the anger I feel.

Surrender is a practice and the deeper I go into my own spiritual practice,  the more it requires me to surrender.

Belonging is a state of mind.

Saying I do not belong anywhere is a story I have been telling myself for years. 

I have given meaning to some of my life experiences to back that up, like wanting to live in places I cannot stay. 

Creating stories to back up this belief I do not belong anywhere. 

It has been a very layered one to unravel but basically this is what I have stripped it back too. 

You will never feel like you belong anywhere until you can belong to yourself. And I have been doing this by 

Self acceptance - not rejecting/shaming any part of myself 

Creating safety for myself - tuning in to my own needs 

Trust - When I don’t follow through with what I say I am going to do I send messages to myself  that I am untrustworthy.
