The main characters for Gears of War 4 have been announced and some of our hosts are super excited about it. One host still hasn't played Gears 2. The sacrilege! Bear Simulator is no more... maybe? This week Red joins Chicken, Grif, and Baka in Oak's absence. Chicken gives his post-game thoughts on Far Cry Primal. He's also excited about another game he just checked out: Consortium. He was pretty impressed! Red has gone back to Dark Souls 2. He may have regrets. Chicken and Red get caught up in talking about games they used to play together and Pokemon strategies. Grif finds another video game spouse and fails at being a social butterfly in Dragon Age Inquisition. Red explains how bullet time works in Super Hot. Everyone debates the validity of Star Fox's new main character. Microsoft's caused quite a stir with their new Universal Windows Platform and the possibility of console hardware upgrades. Is MS attempting to turn their console into a mini-PC? Red mentions Katamari in VR and of course Grif needs it in her life! Then the crew realizes that NO ONE can look cool while wearing VR gear. This week Oak's back! He didn't play much while he was away on vacation, but everyone else has games to talk about! Grif started two games this week! She picked up Dragon Age Inquisition and Metal Gear Solid V. After spending a couple hours crafting her story on DragonAgeKeep, the data wouldn't transfer. Heartache! She finds out MGS is much weirder than she expected. Grif and Baka started recording a co-op run of Dying Light and it's not exactly going smoothly. Chicken's impressed with Far Cry Primal after playing it all week. In the news this week is Vivendi's attempted hostile takeover of Ubisoft. Will Ubisoft be able to find enough backer to fight off the takeover? Uncharted 4's newest trailer looks fantastic. Will the game be a fitting end for Nathan Drake? Nintendo announced Pokemon Sun and Moon and of course people are still speculating about the new console. Will everyone pick up the NX at launch? And the new website is live now! This week Oak is out of town and the remaining hosts get a little out of hand. Regardless of the antics, they still manage to talk plenty of gaming goodness! Grif's Fallout 4 addiction is about to get worse with the announcement of season pass DLC content. Chicken played Halo 5 but he isn't impressed with what 343i has done with one of his favorite series. The industry is leaning heavily toward multiplayer overtaking single player in popularity which started an interested discussion. DLC is getting expensive, but is some of it worth it? Microsoft is attempting to make the Quantum Break on PC news better by mentioning you can only get it from the MS store. That doesn't really help, MS. This week FNAF gets a toy series and the RPG, FNAF World, is back! Ubisoft is gearing up for an interesting year with Far Cry Primal right around the corner and Watch_Dogs 2 announced for 2017. At least they're giving Assassin's Creed a break this year! There's a Sonic movie on the way but should we really be looking forward to it? Quantum Break is coming to PC and everyone is losing their mind over it. For $10MIL you can be in the upcoming Dying Light movie. Oh and you get the game and DLC and some other stuff, too. Three out the for podcasts hosts just returned from PAX South! Bet you can guess what the major discussions were about. Yep, PAX South! Grif has the PAX Pox and sounds a little rough, but that doesn't stop her from geeking out with the guys about everything at the expo. Baka and Chicken are completely amped up about Dreadnought, an upcoming multiplay ship battling game. The crew tried HTC's VR rig. The whole experience was much more educational than any of them had thought it would be. Grif fawns over Cliff Bleszinski's keynote; she even goes so far as to claim Cliff is her spirit animal. Yeah, that's not weird. Oak's jealous that the crew got to meet and chat with one of his favorite streamers, CohhCarnage. Tech issues continue to plague the IR crew and it eventually causes Oak to drop from the show this week. Valve approved a fan-made Half Life add on. It comes to light that Grif's never played any of the Half Life series and Baka shares his thoughts on head crabs. Brooklyn gets cut from The Division. eSports finally has its own section on the ESPN website. Is Halo extreme enough to warrant its place at the X-Games this year? Oak found a mobile game called Bike Race Pro that he enjoyed while away on a business trip. Grif doesn't understand why everyone else isn't into Tetris like she is. An unauthorized Star Wars game makes $18,000 on Kickstarter before the project is pulled. Speaking of Star Wars, our hosts theorize on what movie James Cameron might make to reclaim his box office top spot.
