Arts leaders from across Illinois gathered in Springfield last week to lay the groundwork for future legislation and expanded state support.

One of those on hand advocating for the arts was Luke O’Neill, founder of Union Streets Arts and Vice President of the Marion Cultural and Civic Center Foundation.

A web article talks about a plan in the works for the Missouri Valley Football Conference, of which SIU is a member, and the Summit League, to form a partnership for football.

The Summit League does not play football, but does house four MVFC members in North Dakota State, North Dakota, South Dakota State and South Dakota.
