Time stops for no one, and the threat in Thave grows closer and more dangerous.  The Guardians find themselves desperate to answer the call, and to find the lost faces that Jericho and Hemlock so desperately miss.  Unfortunately , time stops for no one and a difficult decision must be made.

Hemlock ties up a loose end, and all the Guardians plan for a long, dangerous journey to Thave. All except Jericho, who is determined to do anything to find his missing friend. Even if it costs him everything.  

After a deadly confrontation nearly disrupts the celebration at Newall, Mayor Plen decides that he should hire some of the Guardians for a NEW type of job. Jericho and Hemlock struggle with the knowledge their friends are not who they thought they were.

Calienveroe has seen visions of the future.  She sees the destruction of Verenn, or hope of it's survival.  Which future unfolds will depend entirely on our heroes.  So she tasks them to confront a great evil in Thave before it can bring destruction to Navarre.  The heroes agree to begin their journey tomorrow, but first they have a part to attend.

The heroes awaken in Tabonry to find it changed in their absence.  The snow falls, the new wall is built, and the places that were once home are now changed forever.  Yannick deals with being a living legend, Dash takes a stab at diplomacy, and Hemlock discovers that he is a hunted man.

The heroes find themselves in the biggest struggle of their lives as they are confronted with mind bending horrors, deadly challenges, and the lord of this domain, Vestrath himself.

Stuck in hell, the heroes find themselves haunted by visions, specters, and choices from the past. Dash lives his worst nightmare, and Yannick is forced to reopen old wounds.

The heroes crusade across Hell to destroy a source of Vestrath's power. Jericho makes a sacrifice in an ocean of lava, and Galen gains knowledge of the deadly denizens that dwell in the deep.
