Haran Yaffe is the creator of Ollies Blocks, named after his almost 2-year-old daughter. This wounded veteran turned father, turned inventor grew up playing with the blocks made by his father’s small toy company. As a vet who sustained life-threatening injuries, Yaffe returned home with a newfound inspiration to rekindle his father’s work and create a toy that reintroduces a simplistic and hands-on approach to playtime.Ollies Blocks are quickly making an impact beyond recreation, they are also helping child victims of traumatic brain injuries as a rehabilitation tool and they’re helping teachers as a productive educational tool in classrooms. A KickStarter campaign for Ollie's blocks continues until April 3rd.
