In this episode, Hannah Levin, founder of Heartfelt Wellbeing, and I explore the intersection of personal + planetary health.
In probably my favorite bit we talk about aligning our healthcare with the natural seasons and rhythms and Hannah shares how Ayurveda offers us the ‘ the owner's manual’ for our unique body, mind and spirit combination, while also clueing us into our innate strengths and challenges. Hannah also describes the personal health crisis which led her to become a student and teacher of Ayurveda, the ‘sister science’ to yoga and a 5,000+ year old system for thriving in daily life. As someone who leads with Enneagram Type 1, Hannah brings a lot of rigor and passion to complex conversations about how we can each customize our health-care and self-care in order to show up more fully in our personal and professional relationships and life’s work.

Plus below I share two of my favorite solution-oriented climate resources:
Water is Love: Ripples of Regeneration Film (the only documentary about climate change that left me feeling hopeful and inspired. The animation about the water cycle is stunning.)
Saving Us: A Climate Scientist's Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World by Katharine Hayhoe **I appreciate how she moves beyond politicized divisions and roots in shared values and respectful conversations.
I am launching this podcast in honor of Hurricane Helene survivors as we navigate the first year anniversary and as a fundraiser for two water-based nonprofits. I invite you to check out their work + consider joining me in making a donation of any size:
