Paul had a pretty drastic story of coming to faith. Some of us have stories like that... some of our stories seem pretty gradual and "boring" to us. But the fact is, if you are a believer, you have a story of faith... and it's special. Look at Paul's and think about yours.

Paul had been severely beaten, arrested, flogged, nearly killed, and had people plotting to kill him. He was also spending another night in a Roman jail. Paul might have been discouraged at this point. God comes to meet and encourage him in that.
