    Tonight we followed the GAC to Portland, Oregon, where they explored the town's vast network of underground tunnels, once used to kidnap folks and sell them into forced labor. It's a pretty incredible history, and one that is handled about as well as you expect them to handle it.     We tried to avoid the super troubling episodes of this show but they snuck one on us. "Rose Hall" sounds totally fine right? Turns out it's almost impossible to separate ghost hunting from the history of settler-colonialism that has touched so much of this planet.

Since one of the major points of interest at the Hales Bar is a supposed "Cherokee Curse," we go pretty heavy in the back half into the super racist roots of believing in that kind of curse. But anyway, Zak almost gets himself killed (again) and there's an all-time great Aaron freakout.
