August 30, 2024 Roster Breakdown- The Mild and the Young
We take a quick look back at the Giants final preseason game vs the Jets. Who played, who didn't and which players helped themselves. That leads directly into the roster breakdown.
This team is young, young and more young and led on offense by the average, nondescript Peter Parker- Daniel Jones and on defense they are led by Spider-Man himself Brian Burns.
Roster Breakdown begins on the offensive side of the ball. The wide out group after the top four is discussed (who made it BFW and who didn't Boykin and McKenzie- we both had those two wrong). What do we have at the final WR (returner spot)?
Tight Ends we kept three and moved Jacob Johnson to the practice squad - now already up on the main roster.
Running Backs we know the top 3, what about Turbo Miller? SY had that one pegged right.
Offensive Line- who made it, which players benefitted from injuries and where this team will go now that Schlottman has been injured.

Defensively we breakdown the secondary with a focus on the second CB spot which as of now we will be rolling with what we have. Eric thinks help may still be on the way.
We breakdown the LB'ers and the Edge guys and just what Brian Burns means to this team and to Thibs on the other side.
We finish it off with a look at the defensive line and what we have there with Davidson, Riley and Chatman.

Does Ojulari play or is he going to be held off the field as precaution for injury in case he is to be traded?

If Jones doesn't play how much do Lock and Devito play and which one comes in first?
What battles will be won on ST's and who might be the 6 or 7 WR's the Giants keep?
Who stands to gain or lose the most this weekend? What positions are to be watched the most closely- CB, ILB or perhaps QB?
A
re the Giants looking to acquire a CB or Edge player from another team via trade? If not, what are the Giants going to do with the players they have?
John and Eric give their 3 (tad more) players they want to see in this game assuming the starters are out.

August 18, 2024 Giants vs Texans review with special guest Dave Syvertsen of Ourlads Scouting
John and Eric review the Giants vs Texans preseason game 2 and a look at the players and roster as it is today. Special guest Dave Syvertsen (Sy) of @ourlads_sy, Ourlands Scout and game reviewer for Big Blue Interactive.
John, Eric and Dave (SY) break down the bad- Daniel Jones (and it was bad), the good- our Oline, the RB's, our starting Dline and the Ugly- Daniel Jones first pass and then pick 6 pass. There is a lot of good elsewhere including Andrew Thomas who Dave has at the top of his Left Tackles in the NFL right now. Find our what Olinemen improved the most from game one to game two.
Lots of areas that the team should feel good about but also what is the situation with Daniel Jones going forward, was this rust or was this just another day in the Daniel Jones office.

August 14, 2024 Giants vs Texans Preview- aka HOPE!
John and Eric preview the upcoming game with Houston with an eye on who will be playing and how much will they play. The conversation of course has a heaping helping of Daniel Jones and what will we do at RB with a number of players out this week. HOPE is a beautiful and ugly thing all at the same time.
Along with the game preview we look at specific positional battles, positional groups that will be tough to cut folks from and some that might need more reinforcements.
All of that and more questions from Giant fans via Big Blue Interactive!
