Kevin starts off with a general update on the Men’s World Championship in Ottawa (3:00) and some interesting things happening with the ice (5:30). After the break, Vice President of the WCF, Hugh Millikin joins the guys for ‘In the House’ (20:25). He tells the story of how he ended up a Canadian curler in Australia (20:50) the growth of curling worldwide (22:55). Kevin asks where and how they are going to handle the new events that are coming with this growth all over the world (24:45). Warren asks if there are plans to modify the tournament and playoff structures to accommodate the large amount of countries getting involved (30:00) and the future plans for mixed doubles (34:45). Finally, Warren updates all the curling action that’s been going on, starting with Jones and Gallant winning the Mixed Doubles (35:50), the Canadian Wheelchair Championships in Moose Jaw (39:40), and the Canadian Jr Championships that are underway in Quebec (40:35).
