When you think of Country Music, most people think of Nashville, But Sao Paolo, Brazil? Not exactly the country mecca. One aspiring Brazilian country artist found his calling in Nashville, and now spends his time in both Sao Paolo and the States. Rodrigo Haddad is turning out to be a worldwide ambassador for country music.

Joey and Rory were introduced to America through the hit television show "Can You Duet" on CMT. Although they didn't win the competition, the show did help launch their budding career. We caught up with them as they celebrated the release of their new CD "The Life Of A Song"

Darius Rucker is no stranger to the top of the charts, however his hit "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" is his first trip to the top of the country chart. As the lead-man for Hootie and the Blowfish, Darius has seen just about everything, so his journey through country music has been a totally fresh experience.

David Anderson has been there done that. Hes opened stadium shows for the likes of Bruce Springteen, Jackson Browne and Tom Waits. But all that touring and time out on the road playing the same thing eventually took a toll. Today he performs all over Nashville, quickly becoming the Ambassador of Music City, personally greeting Nashville visitors every day at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Mary kay and the Country Music Association have partnered for two years now to help prevent domestic violence. This year the A Kiss For Country program brought over 60 Country Artists together to donate their pucker prints, to be sold at auction, to benefit the new philanthropic campaign. All the proceeds went to the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation to be distributed nationwide. A noble goal to end domest violence.

The first Christmas for CASA event in Nashville was hosted just before the holidays by Cerrito. Cerrito pulled a few friends together for a magical night. The function raised Money to serve thousands of abused and neglected children in Nashville, helping to keep them from falling through the cracks of the foster care system.

Nashville is obviously best know for country music, but part of what makes us Music City USA is the diversity of music you can find here. Karissa's music is not country, but more edgy or alternative. She came to Nashville from Wyoming, meeting a founding member of the 70's super group Bread Robb Royer here, who helped give her the extra boost she need to pursue a career in music. Take a listen and you will see that Karissa definetinely has an incredible voice.

Rick Huckaby has grown up with a tough work ethic, in the shadows of his father, the legendary NCAA Marshall University Basketball coach . Rick had a hard act to follow. Naturally there was a little resistance from his parents when he decided to drop out of college to pursue his dream of making music, but in looking back, that now seems like a solid carrer move. He puts songwriting first and foremost and now has a current chart climber with Trace Adkins "Muddy Water"
