Sherrie Austin grew up in Australia with music in her life from an early age.  Her music, however, is taking a temporary back seat to a more pressing concern...her new initiative for suicide prevention.  After losing her uncle, and then fellow musician Mindy McCready, Sherrie felt the time was right to organize this campaign.  Kelly Lynn headed over to Sherre's home in Nashile to talk about the new project. 

Hunter Hayes seems to be the new golden boy of country music.  His latest "Somebody's Heartbreak" took the top spot on the charts, giving the almost 22-year-old Louisiana native his second number one hit.  We had a chance to catch up with Hunter and one of his co-writers at a party at BMI to celebrate that song's success.  Here's Kelly with more.

We kick off another "Inside Music Row" with the mention of Little Jimmy Dickens as he has been overwhelmed by his fans' support through his recent radiation treatments.  He received a crate of cards and letters wishing him well in his treatment for a pre-cancerous condition on his vocal chords.  Alan Jackson is also in the news as he is set to release his long awaited bluegrass project next month.  Look for "The Bluegrass Album" September 24th.  Up next is country icon Kenny Rogers - Kenny will headline the 16th annual concert for Cumberland Heights - tickets are on sale now for "An Evening with Kenny Rogers" at the Ryman Auditorium September 25th.  Speaking of legends, we also mention Loretta Lynn as she is welcoming some of the gospel greats to her home in hurrican Mills, Tennessee for the inaugural "Loretta Lynn's Gospel Music Festival" beginning September 28th.  Next, we mention Toby Keith and Sammy Hagar as they have joined forces for "Margaritaville" on the upcoming "Sammy Hagar and Friends" album.  Look for that project September 24th.  Finally, we go Inside The Song with Connie Harrington to hear about a heart-touching song she co-wrote called "I Drive Your Truck" which Lee Brice took all the way to number one.

Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson might both sound familiar to you, as Jon has written and produced countless songs here in tow, while Kristy was a founding member of the duo Bomshel.  Together they are creating a fresh new sound in country music that many find refreshing.  Here's Kelly with more.

It can be a long way from Florida or Georgia to Nashville, but Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line have certainly made their way to the top of the music industry.  As arguably the hottest duo in country music, they packed their bags and headed home for their latest music video shoot.  We had a chance to peek in behind the scenes in both Florida and Georgia on the set of "Round Here."

The husband and wife duo of Thompson Square first hit the top of the charts with "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?"  Now their most recent single "If I Didn't Have You" has also taken the top spot.  Even though this is their second number one as artists, this is their very first number one as writers.  We had a chance to catch up with Keifer and Shawna Thompson, along with co-writers Paul Jenkins and Jason Sellers at a party to celebrate that song's success.

We kick off another "Inside Music Row" with the mention of the one and only Reba as her "All The Women I Am" exhibit begins its 10 month run this week at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  We also mention Clint Black as he and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store are teaming up.  Clint's latest project, "When I Said I Do" is in Cracker Barrel stores starting this week and features eleven of his Clint's most heartfelt favorites.  "Country's Night To Rock" is up next as ABC is just about ready to premier the 3-hour special Augus 12th.  Look for performances from Jason Aldean, Kid Rock, Tim McGraw, and Taylor Swift.  Kacey Musgraves is mentioned next as she is the latest artist to partner with Oreo Cookies for their "Wonderfilled" campaign.  We also mention Steve Wariner as he is set to release his next album "It Ain't All Bad" September 10th.  This is Steve's first non-instrumental album in more than eight years.  Finally, we go Inside The Song with Jimmy Yeary to hear about Martina McBride's heartfelt song "I'm Gonna Love You Through It."  

Adam Fears enjoyed playing music in college, but never really expected to play professionally until a stroke of luck hit while in his senior year at Texas A & M which lead to a publishing deal in Nashville.  Seven years later, Adam still writes for that same publishing company, honing his craft as a writer and as a performer.  We caught up with Adam to hear all about his new music on Nashville's Landstar Entertainment label.  Here's Kelly with more.

Flying Island Entertainment's Gwen Sebastian has been working hard in country music for years, but it wasn't until her apperance on the NBC hit show "The Voice" that she gained immediate national attention.  She's just released her new single and self-titled albu, so Kelly Lynn caught up with her to hear all about that new music.

Florida Georgia Line is one of the hottest new duos in country music today.  Their debut single "Cruise" hit the top of the charts shortly after they signed with the Republic Nashville record label.  Their followup single "Get Your Shine On" also skyrocketed to the top of the charts, helping increase sales for their debut album "Here's To The Good Times."  We had a chance to catch up with Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard along with their fellow co-writer Rodney Clawson to talk about that catchy hit.
